Tell us about your proposal?
It was the first time we were in our brand new family ‘forever’ home on our own. We were doing our final settlement inspection without any real estate agents or builders. This is when Bill got down on one knee. We were in our soon to be future kitchen!
What was your wedding theme?
We had a fairly traditional theme with floral with oceanic touches. It was simply white with touches of rose and baby’s breath floral decorations. We also had some turquoise splashes to tie in with our seaside location.
What was your most memorable moment?
Arriving on board the 62ft Princess Cruiser, ‘La Perla’ into the marina to surprise our guests was definitely a big highlight! None of our guests knew until our Celebrant announced that I was there and directed them all to look to the ocean!
Do you have any tips for future couples?
Relax as much as possible. Also try to take a moment with just the two of you at some stage in the day to soak it all in and to remind each other what all the hype is really about.
What made your day so special to you?
Being in such a beautiful location with all of our family and friends.
Did you honeymoon?
We went to Fiji for two weeks and stayed at the Shangri-La. It was great to relax and enjoy some time as newly weds!
