Whether you are looking at a large conference for 150 delegates, an intimate business meeting or business development workshop, the venue space at Lure offers a range of conference and meeting space solutions.
Earthy and elegant, Lure incorporates a natural nautical theme which is in keeping with its marina surroundings and existing building design. With a rock wall facade on the bar and illuminated glass top to mimic rippling water, the design utilises a contemporary yacht theme blended with natural features. Lure is equipped with state-of-the-art audio visual equipment which can be tailored to suit your requirements depending on your program of events. From projectors and wireless microphones our in-house AV team can accommodate all conferencing scenarios.

Whether you choose to book the full venue and dedicate one section to a theatre style set-up with the other section set up for a relaxed lunch/ morning tea networking function, we can adapt the venue easily as you transition through your planned event program.
Either side of the Compass bar are two functions rooms, the Sandglass Room and the Quadrant room which can be used separately for a small function or combined for a large gathering.
With curtained bi-fold doors spanning the length of this room, we can block the entire room off from the rest of the venue to provide a private and functional space for a theatre style session, accommodating up to 70 participants.
Alternatively, for a more intimate meeting or workshop we can accommodate 25 delegates in a U-shaped set-up in this space. With state-of-the-art audio visual equipment, projectors screens, surround sound, wireless microphones, television screens and high-speed wireless internet, this conference space is the perfect solution for your next conference, workshop or seminar.
Due to the functionality of the venue and the intelligent design you are able to use this section of the venue to run your concurrent workshops or sessions, whilst utilizing the rest of the venue for the networking and dining elements of your corporate event. With the expansive waterfront balcony at the other side of the curtained sliding glass doors, we can awash with room with light and open the curtains to allow the stunning marina view through the windows, as inspiration to get the creative juices flowing.
A popular use of the Quadrant room is for a formal sit down lunch which can be served at a time which suits your program of events. We can cater for a sit down, alternate drop style lunch or a less formal banquet style if required. For larger conferences, the whole venue can be opened and the Quadrant room used in conjunction with the Sandglass room to create a floor plan which can accommodate up to 200 delegates theatre style.
The Compass Bar forms the central focus of the venue and can be used for networking or cocktail style functions or as a place to mingle with other delegates during morning or afternoon tea. The Compass Bar space can also be added to one or both of its adjacent rooms, in order to open up the entire venue space to accommodate over 200 conference delegates or attendees.
