All menu options are prepared in our on-site state-of-the-art kitchen by the Lure catering team and the construction of the menus has developed over time to ensure a wide range of choice for our guests, but also the inclusion of locally sourced high-quality produce wherever possible.


Cocktail Style Menu


With a range of delicious options using locally sourced Whitsunday ingredients with an exotic twist the cocktail style menu can be adapted to suit your tastes. If prosciutto wrapped asparagus spears with tarragon scented hollandaise sauce or tartlet of buffalo mozzarella, smoked slow roasted cherry tomato and basil paste sound appealing, then the other cocktail style menu options will be sure to impress. The menu quantities can be tailored to suit your wedding reception in terms of guest numbers and duration of services, as well as number of items per person.

Banquet Style Menu


For a seated dining style without the formality of the alternate drop and with a wide range of options to accommodate everyone’s tastes, we recommend the popular Banquet style menu. There are seven courses from which you can select options showcasing a range of local Whitsunday produce and some seriously imaginative options developed by our in-house catering team.

From tempura tiger prawn brochette drizzled with sweet ponzu sauce to herb crusted pan seared yellow fin tuna served rare on a bed of ratatouille, the options for the Banquet style menu have been well designed and constructed to ensure the banquet flows, whatever your menu selection.

Plated Delights Menu


If you are looking to impress your guests with a formal dining option, we recommend our Plated Delights menu. Provided in an alternate drop style, the range of options on our Plated Delights menu is just outstanding. From grilled coral trout with basil infused olive oil emulsion duck fat potatoes and kale to char-grilled prime eye fillet or beef with fondant potatoes, snow peas and green peppercorn butter the plated delights menu caters for all tastes. Beef, chicken, pork, seafood and vegetarian options are all showcased on this impressive menu constructed by our chef to ensure maximum use of local produce, but also ensure that your guests will be talking about the food at your wedding at Lure, for many years to come.

The Plated Delights menu consists of a range of entrée and main options, with desert being an optional extra. If you wish to serve your stunning wedding cake as desert for your guests, we are delighted to offer complimentary berry coulis and King Island double cream to be served with your cake offering a delicious and enviable desert option.
